Gooey Chocolate Mosaic Cake

Gooey Chocolate Mosaic Cake

Mosaic Cake

Thanks to hubby, made this delicious gooey chocolate cake just in time! Relatively healthy (made by dark chocolate and coconut oil) alternative cake in a few minutes to appease sugar rush 🙂 Better together with coffee 😉

My all time favourite dessert, reminds me my childhood, waiting mom to bring it out the freezer and give me the biggest slice, hers was usually with more butter though. Trying to turn it into more healthier version, any suggestion is more than welcome 🙂 Here we go..

*Blue plate is from Ikea  (Sold out, similar one is here) Ikea Dinnerware

*Cutlery from Zara Home Zara Cutlery

*Coffee cup from Japan

*Coffee from Nespresso Nespresso Coffee

  • 100 gr coconut oil (or butter)
  • 1,5 packs of biscuit
  • 150 gr bitter chocolate
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cacao

Melt the butter in a pan than add chocolate and melt together with butter.

Add milk to the pan than add cacao, stir the mixture without allowing boil and stick to the pan.

In the mean time, crumble the biscuits in a bowl. After the chocolate mixture is ready, allow 2-3 min. to cool down than mix together with biscuits.

After all the ingredients are mixed up well together, pour the mixture on a cling wrap and roll. Put the cake in the freezer and let it cool down at least 1-2 hours. You can keep the cake in the fridge around 4-5 days. Buon appetito!
